Jason MacCulloch, DOMP, M.C.OST, PTS, FIS, CES

Growing up I've always had a love for sports and being active. As a youth, playing baseball, hockey (both ball and on the ice) as well as volleyball were daily activities. Through high school and into college these sports were a staple in my life, especially volleyball where I played at Mohawk College, and later went on to coach for several years as the team's Strength and Conditioning Coach. After becoming a personal trainer, I've taught various fitness classes for all ages from youth to older adults. Along with health being such a big part of my life, I was also very passionate about helping others and educating. After becoming a certified personal trainer and working in various fitness leadership roles, I found himself always drawn to learning more... This is where Osteopathy comes in.

During my time playing sport and being active unfortunately injuries can come. Several, and too many to list (yet never broke a bone!) had me exploring various practitioners, experts and modalities to help recover from these injuries. Osteopathy was the one that stood out the most and really helped not only heal, but educated me on the body's ability to heal itself. I am now a part-time professor at Mohawk College in the Health, Wellness and Fitness program, a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist as well as a Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. It was the years as a fitness professional that drove my desire for knowledge further, as many clients were looking for ways to move pain-free. Osteopathy helps the body to self regulate and self heal, and I want to pass this info on, not only provide and facilitates this, but also educate clients on how they can take control over their own healing and journey to keep moving pain-free. Book now.

During my studies I've received my Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP) from the National Academy of Osteopathy, a Masters Certificate in Osteopathy (M.C.OST) as well hold certifications as a Personal and Group Fitness Trainer (PTS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Soft Tissue Release Therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and a member of The Canadian Alliance of Alternative Medicine. I've trained in all aspects of Osteopathic therapy including visceral, cranial-sacral and musculoskeletal.
